Wherever you are, whoever you are, you'll likely find yourself blinking one moment and teleporting in a flurry of snowflakes the next. Luckily for you, there's no murder this time! (Probably.)

Rather, you'll hear Christmas carols aplenty as you approach a winter castle, snow lightly falling and various paths leading to gardens filled with still-blooming flowers (how.) and lit topiary displays.

Upon entering the castle, you'll find it's brightly lit and decorated...welcome to the party! Frost lightly dusts the walls and some nearby surfaces and guests will find there are halls and floors aplenty to explore. There are rooms filled with plush chairs and fireplaces for those looking for something cozier, rooms filled with all kinds of games and toys, and naturally there's a large ballroom prime for dancing. Spread through you'll find tables of snacks, full-course meals, drinks, desserts, and even champagne towers. Are you looking for something specific? Simply ask a member of the staff. Watch your step though! Their assistants really are doing their best to help, and the jingling bell may be too faint to hear if you aren't paying attention.

It seems as though you've all been invited to a wonderful holiday party for no reason at all...but there is one thing amiss...or, should I say...amistletoe?

Pinned up on every doorway is a sprig of fresh mistletoe, decorated with bright red bows and dustings of frost. And sure, perhaps it's easy just to avoid the doorways if you want to be a spoilsport. But should you avoid it for too long, it will seem as though the mistletoe is following you, almost as if some asshole is hiding out and purposefully trailing behind to keep it dangling over your head.

Oh. And did I mention you can't leave the castle grounds until you play along? Pucker up.

[No matter how mild Chiron's expression is, Hansa can probably tell deep down the centaur is finding so much amusement out of this. Calmly, he takes a step forward]

Is it going to compel me to kiss you, then?

[Without missing a beat, his smile curling up into a smirk.]

Do you feel like you want to kiss me?

A rather difficult matter to discern when that is no different than usual.

[Still smiling pleasantly. Is he actually flirting or just being honest? The mystery.]

Maybe you just want to kiss me more.

[He drapes his arms around Chiron's shoulders.]

...You know, its much easier to do it when you're like this. I don't even have to stretch.

Mm. Do I...?

[Chiron, in contrast, does not reach to Hansa at all, both arms folded behind his back. Instead the other is allowed the opportunity to lean in closer at his leisure while Chiron continues to look amused]

But you are correct; this does solve that dilemma of our previously sore necks.

[Look, he doesn't even mind that he must now tilt his head upward]

I know you better than most, Chiron.

[And...its going to be like that, huh? Hansa's eyes widen, slightly, before narrowing in a rather smug sort of expression.]

[One of his hands trails gently through the other's hair.]

What a blessing that is. And how easy it is, to simply tilt one's head upwards, and receive a kiss. Or two. Or three. Isn't that nice?

I do not know; it hasn't happened yet.

[Is his head tilted a little, to better line up with Hansa's face? Yes -- but his eyes remain open and faintly teasing all the while, not even commenting on how his hair is being played with]

I do suggest you hurry, though, before the mistletoe wears off.

[He says knowing damn well the mistletoe has so little to do with this mess]

[He chuckles lightly, leaning forward, nose brushing against the other's.]

[His voice a warm murmur as his smile ticks up a notch, he is still not gonna move an inch even as his eyes dance]

[This is. Seriously not what anyone should be looking at. Avert your eyes, everyone. You're witnessing olympic level competitive flirt? fighting???]

[That being said, Hansa's low voice is like a purr as he leans forward, his lips against the corner of the man's lips, only briefly touching, like a hint of a kiss.]

I think you're smart enough to guess, hm.

[Well it would certainly ruin the game if he turned his head away; Chiron's eyes flutter closed briefly, humming in response when he feels lips brush his, but on Zeus he will drag this out until the olympic medal is his.

Listen. He can play this game for as long as necessary even if Hansa is being distracting with that hand. Though Chiron will be benevolent in his own way and not leave all of the work on the cyborg's end: the finger hooked in Hansa's shirt tugs at him just enough that he can lean up and brush his own lips against the other's cheek]
