Wherever you are, whoever you are, you'll likely find yourself blinking one moment and teleporting in a flurry of snowflakes the next. Luckily for you, there's no murder this time! (Probably.)

Rather, you'll hear Christmas carols aplenty as you approach a winter castle, snow lightly falling and various paths leading to gardens filled with still-blooming flowers (how.) and lit topiary displays.

Upon entering the castle, you'll find it's brightly lit and decorated...welcome to the party! Frost lightly dusts the walls and some nearby surfaces and guests will find there are halls and floors aplenty to explore. There are rooms filled with plush chairs and fireplaces for those looking for something cozier, rooms filled with all kinds of games and toys, and naturally there's a large ballroom prime for dancing. Spread through you'll find tables of snacks, full-course meals, drinks, desserts, and even champagne towers. Are you looking for something specific? Simply ask a member of the staff. Watch your step though! Their assistants really are doing their best to help, and the jingling bell may be too faint to hear if you aren't paying attention.

It seems as though you've all been invited to a wonderful holiday party for no reason at all...but there is one thing amiss...or, should I say...amistletoe?

Pinned up on every doorway is a sprig of fresh mistletoe, decorated with bright red bows and dustings of frost. And sure, perhaps it's easy just to avoid the doorways if you want to be a spoilsport. But should you avoid it for too long, it will seem as though the mistletoe is following you, almost as if some asshole is hiding out and purposefully trailing behind to keep it dangling over your head.

Oh. And did I mention you can't leave the castle grounds until you play along? Pucker up.

Our entire situation at camp was caused by an accident. Our entire situation on the island was caused by the voice of some sort of apparent god telling us to kill each other. Neither of these things have happened - the only person who has incited anything even remotely violent is you.

[ he's unperturbed. he is maskless, at least, since he was just chatting with flayn, so you can see yin yu's extremely unimpressed facial expression. :T ]

The answer you want me to give you is "kill you", probably, isn't it?

[ HE SIGHS. exhausting. ] You and I both know you aren't strong enough or fast enough to stop me from disarming you. I suppose you could blow my brains out first, but I've just come back from the dead for a second time and I'd like to avoid a third. None of us want to trigger yet another game, either - not to mention, Chengzhu could turn your gun into ashes without even looking at you.

I'd rather you just act like a decent human being as I know you are, in fact, capable of, than cause more problems than are strictly necessary, Ogata.

[Maybe it's the last part of what Yin Yu said that gets to him. Or maybe it's just the direct action threat of having his boss melt Ogata's gun out of existence.

But he finally relents with an annoyed noise, turning the bolt on his gun and pulling the clip out to hand to Yin Yu.]

If someone kills me, it's now your fault.

[ dryly ] And so I will live with the consequences of that on my shoulders.

[ into the pouch at his belt they go. yin yu's other response is a genuine - ] Thank you. [ as he nods his head. ]

[ crisis calmly averted! his ogata wrangling skills are still pretty decent..... ] Come find me later, and I'll return them to you. I'll speak with Flayn as well, alright? Try to enjoy yourself in a way that isn't with shooting someone...

[The real comedy here is Ogata absolutely has spare clips in the pouches on his belt but like, don't worry about it. Ogata replaces the bolt on his now empty rifle, locking it in place with a satisfying click.]

Don't ask the impossible of me.
