Spring is in the air, or at least it is here. Regardless of where you may have been before, you'll hear the the sound of jaunty music playing ahead of you as you step into the sun.

Welcome...to the happiest place on Earth.

Everywhere around you seems to brighten and reach out to you, the sight of large, colorful structures and flashing lights, the sound of playful music and people laughing, the scent of delicious sweet and savory treats and the sudden weight in your pocket of a cell phone. Opening it, you'll find a special message:

To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.

You will find what appears to be a forum available to you filled with names you may or may not recognize. Try putting a message out there and seeing who responds!

For those of you who are more hands on, the world is your oyster and the park is your playground. The lines to wait for the rides are fairly short, and all around you there's plenty of shops and kiosks for food, drinks, and souvenears. Didn't bring any money? That's alright. It seems that everything is free for today and today only! (And yes, that includes the alcohol at various establishments.)

Unlike the Christmas party some of you may have attended last winter, it seems there isn't any sort of pranking or tomfoolery happening in the park today. There are several lands to explore, along with several other parks and attractions attached. You may not have to kiss someone in order to leave...

...but it does seem as though the gates are locked for the next several hours. On occasion, you may feel a pair of ghostly hands push you forward toward that ride you're hesitating to board or tempting you with a sugary-sweet churro. You may find that taking a loop on It's a Small World will leave the song stuck in your head for several hours while riding something like Space Mountain will leave you feeling more bold than usual. Perhaps a little bit of faith, trust and pixie dust will set you free? Oh well. All you can do now is relax, have fun, and wait for the fireworks spectacular to signal the end of the evening.

[ he strokes his thumbs gently over the sides of her hand. ] If we were drinking, I already forgot.

That shouldn't surprise me, you did drink a lot and then even had to fight that crazy monk. What was his name again...oh! Earthbreaker Groon!

[ nods as she remembers this. ]

[ there's that answer - time shenanigans, and even earlier than percy's. should he even be holding keyleth's hands right now. is that - well, she doesn't hate it, and he's already done it, and he's sure as shit not letting go!!!!

thankfully keyleth's recollection is an excellent distraction from internal screaming, and he groans, finally letting go with one of his hands to put it on his own stomach. ]

Eugh, how could I forget. Thought he was going to knock my brain out of my ears. The shit I do for Grog...

[ he would do it again in a heartbeat but that's besides the point. ] ...maybe he smacked the hangover right out of me, yeah? Sorta feel like we ought to go test it out, ride a ride or two. What do you say?

[she gives vax a concerned look, but thats soon replaced with a small smile. using her free hand to pat his shoulder.]

That wouldn’t surprise me, to be honest. [as far as she knows they have been together the whole time, up until now? how they were separated she does know, but she also isn't going worry about that right now. instead…]

Oooh that sounds like fun, yeah,
let’s do that. I saw a huge mountain earlier, with a waterfall coming out of it, looked pre-tty cool.

[ she looks and sounds excited about it, already tugging on his hand and heading that way. ]

[ you know how in old cartoons when a looney tune is in love they float a little bit off of the ground stupidly after whoever they're into? that is basically vax right now. keyleth could frankly guide him off of this earth and he would follow her off of it. (again! maybe into a volcano again this time!) ]

[ if you will excuse vax'ildan he is now going to be stupid and heterosexual and just follow a little behind keyleth and smile at her all stupidly where she can't see his face.

[ when they get to splash mountain keyleth is stopping to stare up at it, eyes wide and mouth hanging open. ]

Whoa...this looks even more awesome than it did before! Hurry, let's get on it!!

[ pulls him along! good thing the wait is nonexistent, because she's going fast!]

Well this sure is a giant log, the tree they got this from must have been huge...

[ a little sad about said tree, that does not exist because these are made from not wood, but it's fine. she's still excited about the ride itself. ]

vax just lets keyleth guide him around anywhere she wants - smiling stupidly behind her back, still, and then moving to catch up so they can walk side by side, lacing their fingers together. he's mostly quiet, just taking in whatever fucking blessing that let this happen, laughing a little when she starts rushing them through the lines and then hopping over one of the velvet line barrier things just because he can. kiki would go through it all nicely.

the little laugh turns into a full on one as their log flume comes up. affectionately, ] Kik, it's fake, I think.

anyway he stabilizes the little flume with his foot and holds it still, stepping in and then holding her hand to guide her so she doesn't fall, too. oh he even gets to hold her... this ride is great.... ] Careful.
