Spring is in the air, or at least it is here. Regardless of where you may have been before, you'll hear the the sound of jaunty music playing ahead of you as you step into the sun.

Welcome...to the happiest place on Earth.

Everywhere around you seems to brighten and reach out to you, the sight of large, colorful structures and flashing lights, the sound of playful music and people laughing, the scent of delicious sweet and savory treats and the sudden weight in your pocket of a cell phone. Opening it, you'll find a special message:

To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.

You will find what appears to be a forum available to you filled with names you may or may not recognize. Try putting a message out there and seeing who responds!

For those of you who are more hands on, the world is your oyster and the park is your playground. The lines to wait for the rides are fairly short, and all around you there's plenty of shops and kiosks for food, drinks, and souvenears. Didn't bring any money? That's alright. It seems that everything is free for today and today only! (And yes, that includes the alcohol at various establishments.)

Unlike the Christmas party some of you may have attended last winter, it seems there isn't any sort of pranking or tomfoolery happening in the park today. There are several lands to explore, along with several other parks and attractions attached. You may not have to kiss someone in order to leave...

...but it does seem as though the gates are locked for the next several hours. On occasion, you may feel a pair of ghostly hands push you forward toward that ride you're hesitating to board or tempting you with a sugary-sweet churro. You may find that taking a loop on It's a Small World will leave the song stuck in your head for several hours while riding something like Space Mountain will leave you feeling more bold than usual. Perhaps a little bit of faith, trust and pixie dust will set you free? Oh well. All you can do now is relax, have fun, and wait for the fireworks spectacular to signal the end of the evening.

[sheba shrugs! onward they go through the line, then.]

Or maybe just because they can? It seems like a lot of people are screaming around here, but they seem happy enough when they come off the rides.

As long as they're screaming out of joy and not despair, I suppose.

[ they're getting on the ride now! buckle those seatbelts and hold on tight.

as they get going and everything is chill, diluc just looks around and notes what he sees. but when they start picking up speed his arm instinctually goes across sheba. ]

[aww, diluc. sheba smiles a little when he puts his arm out in front of her, then reaches up to pat his arm. there there, it's fine. she's having fun! it's nice to feel the wind on her face like this.

but then they get to the top and the track is just... curled upward and inwards? her eyes go wide as they come to a stop in front of it.]

...is it supposed to be like this?

[there was a long pause in the video so honestly i think it'd be funniest if they just didn't know what was coming and started going backwards mid-conversation...]

[ well he was going retract his arm, but then they’re speeding to what looks like the end of the track? and it’s all twisted??

diluc looks like he’s ready to fight this contraption and even more so, the yeti that appears. help.]

[yikes. sheba lets out a little yelp and grabs onto diluc's arm, startled, when they're suddenly going backwards - she wasn't expecting that! she wasn't expecting that at all!

...

then they come to another stop and they see the shadow of a yeti.

she lets go of diluc's arm, and sparks form at her fingertips. three... two...

whoosh! they're moving again before she can shock the poor animatronic.]

[ it's a good thing they're strapped into this cart, because he would jump onto it and just start swinging.

instead he's staring the yeti down as they fly backwards, arm still across sheba. ]

...tch.

[ they make it back to the station and diluc just. stares. back in the direction they just came from. ]

[she also stares. meanwhile, their restraints come off, and the other passengers start getting out at the station.]

I see.

[ he pulls his arm back and slowly gets out of the cart, still staring down the tunnel. ]

What kind of hellscape are they running here.

[ he says this low enough that only sheba will hear.

safe to say he hated that. 0/10 would not recommend. and he still wants to fight that yeti. ]

[the others coming off the ride are laughing...

sheba frowns a little, following diluc out of the cart and glancing back at the tracks they've just come off of.]

...it - must have all been fake? Because, look... [their cart is getting loaded up again...] I imagine those people will take the same path we took and see the same things we saw.
