Spring is in the air, or at least it is here. Regardless of where you may have been before, you'll hear the the sound of jaunty music playing ahead of you as you step into the sun.
Welcome...to the happiest place on Earth.
Everywhere around you seems to brighten and reach out to you, the sight of large, colorful structures and flashing lights, the sound of playful music and people laughing, the scent of delicious sweet and savory treats and the sudden weight in your pocket of a cell phone. Opening it, you'll find a special message:
To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.
Be sure to @ mmc to connect with others as you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
You will find what appears to be a forum available to you filled with names you may or may not recognize. Try putting a message out there and seeing who responds!
For those of you who are more hands on, the world is your oyster and the park is your playground. The lines to wait for the rides are fairly short, and all around you there's plenty of shops and kiosks for food, drinks, and souvenears. Didn't bring any money? That's alright. It seems that everything is free for today and today only! (And yes, that includes the alcohol at various establishments.)
Unlike the Christmas party some of you may have attended last winter, it seems there isn't any sort of pranking or tomfoolery happening in the park today. There are several lands to explore, along with several other parks and attractions attached. You may not have to kiss someone in order to leave...
...but it does seem as though the gates are locked for the next several hours. On occasion, you may feel a pair of ghostly hands push you forward toward that ride you're hesitating to board or tempting you with a sugary-sweet churro. You may find that taking a loop on It's a Small World will leave the song stuck in your head for several hours while riding something like Space Mountain will leave you feeling more bold than usual. Perhaps a little bit of faith, trust and pixie dust will set you free? Oh well. All you can do now is relax, have fun, and wait for the fireworks spectacular to signal the end of the evening.
[ooc: it's once again mgcu mingle time, but there's a twist! this mingle is open to characters from the following:
however. you may also bring special guests in the form of characters you considered playing in previous games or characters you are anticipating playing in the future. have fun mingling with strangers!]

Other than November, at least]
I said no.
[.......]
For free. If your kid wins in a simple riddle I'll give it with no objections. [November looks at Qi Rong like he's complete trash] I won't bow down to your boorish behavior, but I'll acknowledge him.
Unless, of course, you think he wouldn't be capable of defeating a random stranger in a simple question game, no?

[bruh.
qi rong is trash and should be looked at like he is. guzi, meanwhile, is a treasure, and he looks up at november with curiosity.
"I like riddles, I think! I'll try it, Mister! ...I promise I won't laugh."]
no subject
[Alright, kid. November crouches to be at a closer height to Guzi]
Think carefully and answer. You get only one chance:
What question can you never answer yes to?
[November isn't even looking for an accurate answer. He'd be satisfied with an answer that's interesting enough, as long as an attempt is made, yup. As much as he'd like to throw a right hook to Qi Rong's face, Guzi has done nothing wrong, so he's willing to give him a break]

guzi considers the question very, very seriously.
"Mmm... aren't there a lot of questions you can't answer yes to? The one you just asked me isn't a yes or no question!"]
no subject
[November seems satisfied enough. He extends the snack at Guzi. Here you go, child!
Then he stands up, hands in his pockets, and addresses Qi Rong]
My most sincere apologies to your child for the inconveniences.
[Not even apologizing to Qi Rong for the dismissive way he's treating him...and even then, this apology sure didn't sound convincing in the slightest. November doesn't feel bad at all]
no subject
he beams and takes the snack, though!
"Thank you, Mister! That was really nice of you!"
qi rong, meanwhile, scowls.]
Hey, hey, don't thank him! Apologizing for the inconvenience, bah! There wouldn't have been one in the first place if he'd just fuckin' handed it over--
[guzi stares at him.
"Dad. He was nice. You should thank him too."
...
qi rong looks like he's swallowed a lemon.]
no subject
November tilts his head a little]
Kids these days grow up so fast. Before you know it they're more mature than their parents.
[That's definitely a dig at Qi Rong]
no subject
Hey, what the fuck is that supposed to--
[guzi tugs on his sleeve.
"Thanks, Mister!" and then, to qi rong: "Dad, when people say nice things, you're supposed to thank them."]
