Spring is in the air, or at least it is here. Regardless of where you may have been before, you'll hear the the sound of jaunty music playing ahead of you as you step into the sun.

Welcome...to the happiest place on Earth.

Everywhere around you seems to brighten and reach out to you, the sight of large, colorful structures and flashing lights, the sound of playful music and people laughing, the scent of delicious sweet and savory treats and the sudden weight in your pocket of a cell phone. Opening it, you'll find a special message:

To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.

You will find what appears to be a forum available to you filled with names you may or may not recognize. Try putting a message out there and seeing who responds!

For those of you who are more hands on, the world is your oyster and the park is your playground. The lines to wait for the rides are fairly short, and all around you there's plenty of shops and kiosks for food, drinks, and souvenears. Didn't bring any money? That's alright. It seems that everything is free for today and today only! (And yes, that includes the alcohol at various establishments.)

Unlike the Christmas party some of you may have attended last winter, it seems there isn't any sort of pranking or tomfoolery happening in the park today. There are several lands to explore, along with several other parks and attractions attached. You may not have to kiss someone in order to leave...

...but it does seem as though the gates are locked for the next several hours. On occasion, you may feel a pair of ghostly hands push you forward toward that ride you're hesitating to board or tempting you with a sugary-sweet churro. You may find that taking a loop on It's a Small World will leave the song stuck in your head for several hours while riding something like Space Mountain will leave you feeling more bold than usual. Perhaps a little bit of faith, trust and pixie dust will set you free? Oh well. All you can do now is relax, have fun, and wait for the fireworks spectacular to signal the end of the evening.

I'm "not allowed" [she does in fact do airquotes. why.] to go there by myself anymore, though. Though I'm starting to think that what they really mean is I'm not allowed to go there at all.

Maybe I'll just have to sneak over there myself when no one's looking!

Ahaha, I admire that adventurer's spirit! [DON'T ENABLE HER no it's fine he won't be that reckless] But a good adventurer knows when they need to stay with their team--anything can happen out there, after all. [Such as stumbling into the Abyss and coming out unhinged at best.] But surely your parents could at least take you to that little camp, right at the border? I've heard the chef there makes excellent goulash.

Visiting the camp might be nice! I've never stayed there for too long before, so I haven't gotten to try the goulash yet. And maybe if they need another person to head up on an expedition I can lend a hand!

A fine idea! It's not quite as boisterous [that's a word for it] as this place, but I suppose that's only to be expected.

[Ah yes, the weird phone device. He fishes his out of his pocket too, where he'd promptly shoved it because Childe has no use for unsecured methods of communication. But if it's just pictures...]

Do you think so? It's quite different from the last device I received in one of these places, but that one still works too, so I suppose it's possible...

They got the pictures up somehow! So there has to be some way to take them.
