There are vacancies within the Sects that now need to be filled-- I expect young master Jin will be Sect Leader before much time has passed, though I don't doubt some will argue against it. The Chief Cultivator's replacement is less certain.

[he exhales a little sigh, there.]

Those suited to the job are least likely to desire it, and those with the greatest desire for it likely shouldn't have it.
