[ the lavish chateau is a huge and super busy inn, all pretty blues and golds, with velvet everywhere, and mammon is not even the weirdest person inside, either. there's a minotaur who just stares at him across the way, as well as several tieflings at the counter who giggle and wave at him.

and then there's the sound of running footsteps for about two seconds before beau just crashes into mammon to pick him up and bear hug him. hope you weren't concerned about personal space. ]
