Jingle Mingle...2

Some of you may be used to this by now. For some of you, this may be your very first time being swept away in a flurry of snowflakes. (Though some of you may have been particularly naughty and were shoved into a burlap sack before disappearing into the storm.) As usual, it seems as though the time for bloodshed has passed and when you open your eyes you're greeted with...

...a ski lodge.

Worry not! This isn't the lodge Krampus had taken residence in but it's a rather large and cozy getaway. You may even find that your clothes have changed into something holiday-appropriate for the occasion. It seems as though someone has gone around decking the halls with boughs of holly, lights strewn along the walls, Christmas trees in large corners, and plenty of food and drink to go around. (Yes, this includes alcohol. Please do try to be responsible though, hm?)

Similarly, some of you may recognize the frosty patterns that lightly dust the walls and surfaces and the usual staff and their assistants are back in action. Should you require anything, you may ask one of them and they'll be at your service!

The lodge has plenty of rooms filled with furniture, fireplaces, games and more. And for those of you feeling a little more adventurous, you may venture outdoors. To the left there's a sprawling garden with gazebos, firepits, flowers and lit topiary displays. To the right, you may follow the path down to a hot spring. And straight ahead? There's the path leading you right to a rental shack holding skis, snowboards and snow mobiles.

This almost seems...quaint, doesn't it? And perhaps it's a little too easy, but you should know by now everything comes with a price.

Sprigs of mistletoe are pinned up in every doorway once again, bright red bows and dustings of frost lingering around them. Don't try to escape to the outdoors to avoid it! Ice sculptures appear in every direction each decorated with the mystical plant. You could try to avoid it, really, but avoiding it too long will earn a chilly breath of air directly in your ear as you're pushed straight into the nearest person. Wouldn't you rather choose on your own?

Well! The choice is yours, and you might want to make it fast. There's no way out without paying the kiss tax, after all.

[surprising absolutely no one, shi qingxuan is drinking!

you can catch her by the fireplace, where she is cozily bundled up and has a few empty glasses nearby. upon seeing you approach, she smiles and pours a cup without even asking first (unless you are visibly underage, in which case she'll just wave you over.]

Well, what are you waiting for? We might as well get cozy.

[alternatively, you can catch her at the hot springs.

where she is lounging in the water and still has glasses with her. she's sipping at one. there's a jug of rice wine at the water's edge, along with more empty glasses, which she will, once again, fill for anyone who approaches and isn't, like, a child.]

This is nice, don't you think? Much warmer than all that snow out there.

Ahaha... not particularly.

[she much prefers being able to lounge comfortably! which she's able to do here in this hot spring. it's nice and warm.]

...although it certainly does make me appreciate hot springs like this that much more!

Haha, I suppose it would. It's far too cold for hot springs in the motherland, but I've visited some on my travels before.

In Inazuma, actually! But Liyue does have some beautiful pools not far from the harbor.

[Not hot springs, but they're nice nonetheless. He enjoyed them.]

[There sure are a lot of strangers around here. Revali was simply exploring, trying to figure out if there was a trick going on or if this was all another murder trap, but it's all pretty harmless, it seems. Not that he's any happier about that]

Perhaps so, but I'm overheating. This all would be far more tolerable if I wasn't forced into this.

[He says, gesturing at the cozy sweater. His feathers usually help a lot against the cold, and so does physical activity. The sweater is making him so uncomfortable, but it's not like he can take it off]

[Yeah, probably would. Well, that and also there's a bunch of strangers here, and he's not too sure their first impression of Revali, the Rito Champion, etc etc etc should be him half-naked in the middle of the snow.

Well, your comfort is important too! And if anyone finds it indecent to see a bird's feathers, I'd say that's more a problem with them than with you.

[Once he realized what had happened he expected to see everyone in his murdergame, but instead it turned out to be a mixture of the familiar faces he knows, and a bunch of strangers he had never seen before. It's quite the change!]

[she laughs a little as she accepts the cup, taking a seat.]

I do wonder why we're all here, but it isn't unpleasant, I guess.
