Jingle Mingle...2
Some of you may be used to this by now. For some of you, this may be your very first time being swept away in a flurry of snowflakes. (Though some of you may have been particularly naughty and were shoved into a burlap sack before disappearing into the storm.) As usual, it seems as though the time for bloodshed has passed and when you open your eyes you're greeted with...
...a ski lodge.
Worry not! This isn't the lodge Krampus had taken residence in but it's a rather large and cozy getaway. You may even find that your clothes have changed into something holiday-appropriate for the occasion. It seems as though someone has gone around decking the halls with boughs of holly, lights strewn along the walls, Christmas trees in large corners, and plenty of food and drink to go around. (Yes, this includes alcohol. Please do try to be responsible though, hm?)
Similarly, some of you may recognize the frosty patterns that lightly dust the walls and surfaces and the usual staff and their assistants are back in action. Should you require anything, you may ask one of them and they'll be at your service!
The lodge has plenty of rooms filled with furniture, fireplaces, games and more. And for those of you feeling a little more adventurous, you may venture outdoors. To the left there's a sprawling garden with gazebos, firepits, flowers and lit topiary displays. To the right, you may follow the path down to a hot spring. And straight ahead? There's the path leading you right to a rental shack holding skis, snowboards and snow mobiles.
This almost seems...quaint, doesn't it? And perhaps it's a little too easy, but you should know by now everything comes with a price.
Sprigs of mistletoe are pinned up in every doorway once again, bright red bows and dustings of frost lingering around them. Don't try to escape to the outdoors to avoid it! Ice sculptures appear in every direction each decorated with the mystical plant. You could try to avoid it, really, but avoiding it too long will earn a chilly breath of air directly in your ear as you're pushed straight into the nearest person. Wouldn't you rather choose on your own?
Well! The choice is yours, and you might want to make it fast. There's no way out without paying the kiss tax, after all.
[ooc: it's mgcu time! this mingle is open to characters from the following:

This is your last warning: throw that and you'll be soundly defeated.
[It's a futile warning, isn't it]
no subject
[Is that said to work Revali up and get him to have a snowball fight? Yes, it totally is.
By the way here cones another, more normal-sized snowball.]
no subject
I warned you.
[Suddenly, winds pick up, potent updrafts lifting a lot of snow up a couple meters in the air, in an arc towards Rin. Is it cheating to use wind magic to launch as much snow as possible onto the opponent? Probably! But it doesn't stop Revali anyway!
Revali, those aren't even snowballs, you're just tossing snow at Rin]

...for about five seconds, until Rin uses his fire to melt the snow around him.]

[With his victory and using his own name in a victory proclamation! Still, Revali has his guard up, not daring to think it's over!]

[And then he dives for the nearest snow pile to both get some snow on his hands and to get some cover before he gets snow dumped on him. He will win this, he's sure of it.]
no subject
[But fine, you'll be defeated as many times as you want, Revali thinks. He was already preparing to raise more snow when Rin dives for cover. Oh, he's learning! This warrants a change of tactics]
Come out of there and face me!
[A column of wind gets enough snow up to Revali's wing, snow he takes and presses into a ball, pondering how to attack as swiftly as possible. He doesn't even make more snowballs, so confident with a single one his victory is guaranteed!
Slowly, he keeps his distance and moves around, trying to look past the snow pile, trying to see Rin. The thought of doing anything even remotely defensive doesn't seem to cross Revali's mind, really!]
no subject
He has used his fire powers to tunnel through the snow pile. All that is left is the start of the tunnel.]
no subject
[Oho, Revali didn't expect that at all! He approaches the start of the tunnel, looking inside, seriously considering how much of a good idea it'd be to get in there and follow him if Rin isn't in sight. Helloooooo?]

no subject
...
Better go in, he decides. Rin probably isn't waiting there, he won't expect his opponent to follow him]
no subject
Does he date try to peek out?]
no subject
......
Wait.
Revali doesn't come out of the tunnel. Carefully and knowing this wasn't the brightest idea ever given he was in a tunnel under snow, he focuses, blasting with wind right outside the tunnel. That's pretty much announcing he's there! But he hopes that will disorientate Rin a bit if he's nearby!
Unfortunately for him, any intimidation factor is kind of nullified when he just comes crawling out of the tunnel without much fanfare. Oh well]. Doesn't even peek around, in fact, he just comes out. Any snowball he had before has been long forgotten]
