Some of you may be used to this by now. For some of you, this may be your very first time being swept away in a flurry of snowflakes. (Though some of you may have been particularly naughty and were shoved into a burlap sack before disappearing into the storm.) As usual, it seems as though the time for bloodshed has passed and when you open your eyes you're greeted with...

...a ski lodge.

Worry not! This isn't the lodge Krampus had taken residence in but it's a rather large and cozy getaway. You may even find that your clothes have changed into something holiday-appropriate for the occasion. It seems as though someone has gone around decking the halls with boughs of holly, lights strewn along the walls, Christmas trees in large corners, and plenty of food and drink to go around. (Yes, this includes alcohol. Please do try to be responsible though, hm?)

Similarly, some of you may recognize the frosty patterns that lightly dust the walls and surfaces and the usual staff and their assistants are back in action. Should you require anything, you may ask one of them and they'll be at your service!

The lodge has plenty of rooms filled with furniture, fireplaces, games and more. And for those of you feeling a little more adventurous, you may venture outdoors. To the left there's a sprawling garden with gazebos, firepits, flowers and lit topiary displays. To the right, you may follow the path down to a hot spring. And straight ahead? There's the path leading you right to a rental shack holding skis, snowboards and snow mobiles.

This almost seems...quaint, doesn't it? And perhaps it's a little too easy, but you should know by now everything comes with a price.

Sprigs of mistletoe are pinned up in every doorway once again, bright red bows and dustings of frost lingering around them. Don't try to escape to the outdoors to avoid it! Ice sculptures appear in every direction each decorated with the mystical plant. You could try to avoid it, really, but avoiding it too long will earn a chilly breath of air directly in your ear as you're pushed straight into the nearest person. Wouldn't you rather choose on your own?

Well! The choice is yours, and you might want to make it fast. There's no way out without paying the kiss tax, after all.

Yasusada doesn't have particularly strong opinions about food in general (sure, he'll drink eggs, why not)--but he does tend to prefer simpler, lighter things, and while he's probably had milk and milk products by now, he's still kind of unused to them. But he isn't averse to trying new things, so he'll take the cup and drink some!!

And kind of make. This sorta face. Hm.]

I don't see why not. Clem's taken home a bunch of stuff to AJ before, so you can probably ask the penguins to put it in a different cup to take back. Is Kiyomitsu a friend of yours?

That's probably a good thing. [easygoing as sora is, the idea that so many people have been involved in these kinds of games really pisses him off.] But nothing says you can't take him a few presents. He...knows you went somewhere before, right?

Ohh...[ooooh. no. sora knows nothing and neither do i frankly so it's okay. he tilts his head in thought as he examines yams for a moment.]

I dunno. Do you guys normally leave home without warning and come back after going other places? [it's a crime that there were no swords in redacted to explain things to him.]

Well, usually we know who's on a sortie or an expedition and who isn't... and we usually stay in Japan...

I guess it can't hurt to tell him the truth then. Especially if you're partners. [as far as he knows partners don't like keeping secrets despite the fact that he, sora sorason, sometimes keeps massive secrets from his friends.]

[Well, Yasusada seems perfectly happy to believe him, so I guess Kashuu gets to hear about grimm and crau! Fun.

But Yasusada smiles, reaching up scratch the back of his neck.]

Even if I didn't say anything, he'd probably know right away anyway. [Yasusada isn't really the best at keep secrets, especially when he wants something--and he would badly want to tell Kashuu the truth, so. Yeah.]

So then there really isn't a reason not to tell him. [sounds about right to him.] Think he'll be mad...?

[He tilts his head, looking curious.]

Mad it happened, mostly. It's always a little weird to tell the people who weren't there.

[Oh--his brow furrows as he thinks about it.]

I don't think he'd be mad at Tora-kun and Ryuu-kun. [Especially since Yasusada simply does not explain things in an unbiased way ever, and Grimm wasn't that bad for him... he's more likely to make it sound like Akeichi were the villains in the castle tbh] The camp...

[He frowns, thinking it over. Would Kashuu be angry? Maybe, but Yasusada thinks it would probably be to cover up his concern and fear, and Yasusada doesn't want him to have to go through that, so.]

...Maybe I won't tell him too much about it.

[he doesn't know who those people are but he can guess they were maybe like the leaders. he hasn't heard anything about the vampire, just things in passing, but he nods. ]

Tell him whatever you think makes sense. If they want to know more...they always ask. [hm hm.] You guys won your game right?

Well, everyone woke up and we got to go home... [Which is good!] But we didn't really defeat our enemy, so it might cause trouble again if it gets bored... [Which is bad!]

I guess that makes sense. If you don't know what it'll do next, it would've been safer to at least know it was taken care of. [wow. terrible for everyone.] In ours, it was all a simulation. We never even really got to see the guy in charge. He was just a hologram.
