Jingle Mingle...2

Some of you may be used to this by now. For some of you, this may be your very first time being swept away in a flurry of snowflakes. (Though some of you may have been particularly naughty and were shoved into a burlap sack before disappearing into the storm.) As usual, it seems as though the time for bloodshed has passed and when you open your eyes you're greeted with...

...a ski lodge.

Worry not! This isn't the lodge Krampus had taken residence in but it's a rather large and cozy getaway. You may even find that your clothes have changed into something holiday-appropriate for the occasion. It seems as though someone has gone around decking the halls with boughs of holly, lights strewn along the walls, Christmas trees in large corners, and plenty of food and drink to go around. (Yes, this includes alcohol. Please do try to be responsible though, hm?)

Similarly, some of you may recognize the frosty patterns that lightly dust the walls and surfaces and the usual staff and their assistants are back in action. Should you require anything, you may ask one of them and they'll be at your service!

The lodge has plenty of rooms filled with furniture, fireplaces, games and more. And for those of you feeling a little more adventurous, you may venture outdoors. To the left there's a sprawling garden with gazebos, firepits, flowers and lit topiary displays. To the right, you may follow the path down to a hot spring. And straight ahead? There's the path leading you right to a rental shack holding skis, snowboards and snow mobiles.

This almost seems...quaint, doesn't it? And perhaps it's a little too easy, but you should know by now everything comes with a price.

Sprigs of mistletoe are pinned up in every doorway once again, bright red bows and dustings of frost lingering around them. Don't try to escape to the outdoors to avoid it! Ice sculptures appear in every direction each decorated with the mystical plant. You could try to avoid it, really, but avoiding it too long will earn a chilly breath of air directly in your ear as you're pushed straight into the nearest person. Wouldn't you rather choose on your own?

Well! The choice is yours, and you might want to make it fast. There's no way out without paying the kiss tax, after all.

[ completely deadpan: ] Cheetos, maybe.

[ carefully, he turns the guitar so it's on his back for now. ]

The central area would probably be best, if we want the most people to hear it.

[ SMACKS HIS ARM!! ] I don't even eat cheetos!! Who else are you kissing, huh? You're cheating on me?

[ Cue crocodile tears. ]

I can't believe you'd do this to me, Kazuki... ! [ RUNS OFF... WAAAAAAAH ]

[ he can't believe she forgot their first date already? kazuki tries to catch her before she runs off, but he's a little too slow. ]

Always so dramatic...

[ trails after reze... maybe she'll get stuck under some mistletoe and need rescuing. ]

[ She remembers!! He literally will never let her forget about The Kissing Booth. It's well deserved but also... stop it... she's trying to be dramatic for the sake of it!

She steps into the doorway central area, stopping in her tracks. She peers up to see a sprig of mistletoe above her head, smiling brightly before she turns around to search for Kazuki. ]

Kazuki~! Hurry! Before someone comes and kisses me! ♥

You don't have to yell. I'm right here.

[ he wasn't that far behind! but he stops just short of getting stuck with an amused smile. ]

Would you really kiss someone else if I said no?

[ She wraps her arms loosely around his neck once he's close, pouting. ]

Of course not. There's no one else but you.

You're going to hate it if I ever soundproof the apartment.

[ he'll be a good boyfriend and slip his arms around her waist then. ]

Mm, I thought so. [ kazuki is, unfortunately, the jealous type, so hearing reze actually say that makes him pretty happy. because anyone can walk by and see this, though, he makes the kiss pretty quick - chastely pressing his lips to hers with a little smile. ] So try not to get stuck under any mistletoe without me, okay?

You're gonna hate it, because that just means getting your attention in other ways.

[ She cants her head slightly, lips curled into a mischievous smirk. Heart aflutter as she feels his lips pressed against her own; chaste or not, she knows that every act of affection from Kazuki is genuine. ]

I wouldn't dare. [ But jealous Kazuki... SIGHS her taste. ] But if I do I'll just blow up.

Good. That would have been more rude than asking for a guitar.

anyway, dropping his arms from around reze so he can head in to find a good spot to play! ]

She finds a place to sit near him, smiling bright. ]

If you play Wonderwall someone is gonna complain about it not being festive enough… that person being me.

[ since reze mentioned it before... he'll do a rock cover of last christmas! just with no vocals because he's not comfortable enough to sing in front of an audience just yet, the little coward. ]
