Jingle Mingle...2

Some of you may be used to this by now. For some of you, this may be your very first time being swept away in a flurry of snowflakes. (Though some of you may have been particularly naughty and were shoved into a burlap sack before disappearing into the storm.) As usual, it seems as though the time for bloodshed has passed and when you open your eyes you're greeted with...

...a ski lodge.

Worry not! This isn't the lodge Krampus had taken residence in but it's a rather large and cozy getaway. You may even find that your clothes have changed into something holiday-appropriate for the occasion. It seems as though someone has gone around decking the halls with boughs of holly, lights strewn along the walls, Christmas trees in large corners, and plenty of food and drink to go around. (Yes, this includes alcohol. Please do try to be responsible though, hm?)

Similarly, some of you may recognize the frosty patterns that lightly dust the walls and surfaces and the usual staff and their assistants are back in action. Should you require anything, you may ask one of them and they'll be at your service!

The lodge has plenty of rooms filled with furniture, fireplaces, games and more. And for those of you feeling a little more adventurous, you may venture outdoors. To the left there's a sprawling garden with gazebos, firepits, flowers and lit topiary displays. To the right, you may follow the path down to a hot spring. And straight ahead? There's the path leading you right to a rental shack holding skis, snowboards and snow mobiles.

This almost seems...quaint, doesn't it? And perhaps it's a little too easy, but you should know by now everything comes with a price.

Sprigs of mistletoe are pinned up in every doorway once again, bright red bows and dustings of frost lingering around them. Don't try to escape to the outdoors to avoid it! Ice sculptures appear in every direction each decorated with the mystical plant. You could try to avoid it, really, but avoiding it too long will earn a chilly breath of air directly in your ear as you're pushed straight into the nearest person. Wouldn't you rather choose on your own?

Well! The choice is yours, and you might want to make it fast. There's no way out without paying the kiss tax, after all.

[he actually doesn't seem to mind, but he also seems to be weighing his words to give yamato an answer.]

Not just him. Others, too. But we took care of it. Things are peaceful now.

Riku seems to think so long as you guys have Keyblades, you'll keep being involved in stuff.

That's probably true, but that doesn't matter right now. Things are okay and that's all that counts. Everything else, we can do together.

[ hmmmm. it's too bad he doesn't know sora's full of shit and that he is omitting being dead ]

... Guess you're right. You guys got through it together plenty already.

Yup! [he seems pretty happy about that, too.] My friends are important...I couldn't have gotten through any of this without them. Guess that's why it was important to know Riku wasn't alone.

Of course he wasn't. [ the idea! preposterous! ] He made plenty of friends at school.

Well...[he thinks to point out that riku got jealous of sora making other friends, but then he decides not to to save riku's reputation.] Good. As long as he played nice with everybody.

[and now sora is purposefully making it sound like he's a kindergartner because he's a brat.]

Define "nice". [ he's only halfway teasing. there is some seriousness to it. riku ... is rude. ]

Let's see...did he beat anybody up? Pick fights with kids younger than him? Lie about the existence of certain jolly old men who deliver toys on Christmas?

We helped him out a little while ago when we went to Christmas Town.

... You went to Christmas Town... and helped Santa Claus.

Uh huh. Jack wanted us to go with him to visit Santa so we could bring him back to Halloween Town, but Santa was kidnapped by Maleficent because she wanted to turn him into a Heartless. So we had to save him

[yeah.]

So I guess you ... saved Christmas?

[reconnective]

[there's a laugh.]

Something like that! Everything worked out just fine and Jack's back to making sure every Halloween is the best there is.

[ the idea of a halloween town gives him so many hives he is just going to drink from his cup ]

Right. Do all holidays have their own worlds...?

[ this is weird. ]

I think so. There were all kinds of doors in the woods past the graveyard, but we only went to Christmas Town. Jack would know more.

Is Jack a pumpkin?

Nah, he's a skeleton. Not a bad guess though.

So you haven't been to a New Year's world?

[reconnective]

[........he sincerely has to think about this.]

Nope, nothing like that! But a lot of the worlds we've visited are pretty different from what we're used to anyway.
