[ sometimes people wonder how a mousy little girl like xion ended up in gryffindor. when the hat stalled during her sorting, her timid frown visible even under its wide brim, everyone was expecting it to cry "hufflepuff"... but red and gold sashes were thrown over her shoulders when it finally announced her house.
they soon realized that the hat had of course made the right call, though, when someone started talking shit about her twin brother in the great hall. next thing they knew, they heard her shout "expelliarmus!" from the gryffindor table and suddenly found themselves on their back with a striking pain in their chest.
when she isn't in class or on a hair trigger defending her family and friends, she can usually be found studying in the gryffindor common room or out on the quidditch pitch. her official position is chaser, but she's been known to step in to sub for out-of-commision beaters when they've taken one bludger too many. if she can't be located anywhere on school grounds, chances are she's at honeydukes, lowkey wishing florean fortescue's ice cream parlour had a hogsmeade location. the one track mind is a universal constant. ]
